Línea de Investigación

Su investigación se enfoca en el estudio de la etiología, epidemiología y control de enfermedades fúngicas en frutales de gran relevancia, como manzanos, perales, vides, kiwis, arándanos, cerezas y nogales, entre otros.

Las dos principales líneas de estudio abordan: i) las pudriciones de fruta en las etapas de pre y postcosecha, y ii) la cancrosis y la muerte regresiva de brazos. Los hongos de interés incluyen especies de Botrytis y miembros de las familias Botryosphaeriaceae, Diaporthaceae y Diatrypaceae, entre otros.
